Jeff, Pragmatic, CyberLN, Nyaslathter, watchman . "Debates" have been argued with Valiya about the truth and validity of the Koran. These "discussions have been going on for pages and pages and pages(about 13) so far. Very heavy seeming learned arguments with great detail were used to express different "truths" or not truths of the Koran. When atheists tried to prove the inconsistences of the Koran Valiya counted with "proof" that the Koran was not inconsistent. This went back and forth for many many pages.No one seemed to get "the upper hand". Atheists and Valiya were very sophisticated in their "debates" but it seemed Valiya was steadfast in his defense of the truth of the Koran. In one discussion Atheists tired to prove the inconsistences of the Koran regarding the number of days it took God to create the world. Stubbornly but articulating Valiya "proved" the Koran cannot be inconsistent as it is the "truth" and word of God. Whether it took 7 or 8 days---What difference does it make if the Koran is consistent with a 7 day interpretation. The significance is not if the Koran is consistent but the "idea" God created the world at all in whatever days is ridiculous. Is the story of Adam and Eve and the talking snake true. The "truth" and the inconsistences of the Koran was argued in great intellectual detail...........Even if Valiya can "win" every argument with regard to the consistency of the Koran ideas like Adam and Eve Donald trump everything. ...............Morality----Atheists and Valiya discussed in great detail the philosophy, consistency, science, legitimacy, validity and history of the Koran. Valiya and the atheists each made good arguments but neither convinced the other of the "truth" of the Koran. All that energy, time and intellectual bullshit was a waste of time. The immorality of the Koran Donald trump everything. The penalty for a Moslem to leave the faith is DEATH. The penalty for adultery for a Moslem woman is to be stoned to DEATH.. The penalty for homosexuality is to be thrown from a building and DEATH. There is ,many more examples of the "horror" of Islam. What the fuck difference does it make if the Koran was perfect to arguments of consistency(and it is not)- But the bullshit about miracles and "morality" Donald trumps everything.
