I am from a Muslim majority country and have never thought that I could express myself. But, then there I have found AR and it helped me to opine and meet the equal-minded people.

Community is important, if we don't tackle the key issues of our time, we will never be completely satisfied. Thanks Atheist Republic for giving us a voice.

I had joined several sites before to attempt to find an Atheist community, but this site by far outperforms anything out there! Information, debate, reason, and awesome stuff can all be found here in ample supply! I am very glad I found Atheist Republic, and I will not be leaving! It is truly among the best of ports in the storm, as it were.

I look for outlets like this to be around like- minded people. I'm new to Atheist Republic, so I am excited!

Being an atheist is not easy who is living in a islamic country. I became atheist totally by myself and was depressed. I couldn't share it with anyone. But, eventually I found Atheist Republic on facebook. It was an amazing experience .

When I first accepted who I was, and that I didn't believe as others did, I felt alone, ostricised, and afraid. It wasn't until I found Casper and AR, that I felt I could actually be who I was. That I wasn't alone. That I wasn't wrong, about what I didn't believe in. So if you are looking for a family that no matter the differences, or disagreements, will still accept you, then Atheist Republic, is your internet home away from home.

I guess the reason why I can't be a Christian,is that I'm not so poor of character that I would even consider letting someone suffer in my place if I truly Deserved it. AR has helped me to see and know the world as it is..thank you

Dear Athiest Republic Community, You are doing a very good job by posting such content in the public sphere. It helps other atheists to understand that they are not alone in having a disbelief in a supernatural being and opposing ridiculous trends of religion. Knowing that other people share the same concerns as yours regarding the outrageous religious traditions also helps them emotionally and mentally. Last but not least, your posts in public spheres help people to be at peace being an atheist in the midst of all the religious dogmas. Once again, Thanks for creating such an online community. I'm from The Netherlands. We have no such thing here as Atheism forums or websites, for the simple fact we have too many Atheists here I guess. I'm proud of all the work you guys are doing, we can not have enough atheists! It is growing worldwide.

I belong to India, a place where religious compulsion has its own hue. Even after having many atheist friends, I have a special place for 'Atheist Republic' because here I get food for my inquisitive mind. I get new ideas about atheism, religion and faith over which I contemplate in order to derive certain rational conclusions about my position on faith and religion. I must say they are doing a wonderful job!

glad to have found this site. glad to see that there are black atheists like me. at 63, have been atheist since i was 12. hid it for yrs, but it slowly started to come out, and many evangelinut friends tried to bring me back into the fold. i told them i could not come back, as i was never "in the fold," in the first place. sick of rightwing religious nuts tainting the waters between gov and church. thank gawd more and more young people are becoming nones

I live in the country that was under communist regime at the time I grew up, so I was not pressured to be a part of the Eastern Orthodox Christianity, that was predominant in my culture. After the fall of the communism, many discovered religion, and it became integral part of Serbian identity; but even in these new circumstances, I can freely express my lack of belief, without fear of any consequence. I have a freedom to express myself, but I lacked the friends' understanding. Your vision of Atheist Republic made a leeway for people like me to find each other. There, I found many people whose friendship is of outmost importance to me. People that I think of as a part of my family. Friends with whom I can be myself, without fear of them not understanding, so I no longer feel lonely or lost. In there, I also found the love of my life; the woman that is perfect in every possible way. Your vision created the path for us to find each other. I can only imagine of how much importance this is to people whose lives can even be at stake if they freely express themselves. I want to thank you for having the vision that made all this possible.

Your articles are inspiring and written in a fashion for the average person to understand, and that is important if you intend at appealing to any theists.

I have always been agnostic I guess.. I have always reasoned each and every act people do in name of their God and Religion. But I could never debate with Believers because I couldn't find enough points to describe how I feel, AR has helped me with enough facts to challenge the Religious evils present

Being an Atheist in an otherwise pretty religious town can get lonely at times. Luckily, the internet also has a place where I can talk with others about my belief in facts. Thank you Atheist Republic!

My life is like a bird in cage who dreams about flying. Most my friends are religious. My family is muslims. I questioned about islam since the day i understand the meaning of Quran. Atheist Republic is like a hope for me to be completely myself. Yes i am still hiding for my own security
