1) The printing press - now any damn fool can read it an come to different conclusions.
2) Science - Turns out the bible does not know what it is talking about.
3) Chapter and verse - this is very over looked. When you discuss different parts of the bible and are citing chapter and verse. You save loads of time to verify what was said in the bible.
4) The internet - it is science, chapter and verse and multiple translations on steroids. Not to mention access to the best counter arguments to apologetics.
