Ok, His last starter, "Japan

Ok, His last starter, "Japan is Mostly Atheists and Agnostics: Good Judgement 2011", is clearly a hate speech and possibly racist. In the title itself, the post, and the follow on comments, he clearly links the entire culture of Japan to Atheism, calls them evil, rejoices in the natural disaster and their deaths, and then goes on to outline it as devine retribution for being atheist. Listen, I'm very liberal, I'm very lenient in letting people voice their opinion. This dude is quickly proving himself to be a quack. This form of hardline extremist rejoice in their death is a stone toss away from feeling justifiable in killing. I think very seriously, this guy may be mentally unhinging. My vote is now 100% for removal.

Here's a couple of thoughts

Here's a couple of thoughts from an x-Christian. Reason will not work. For one, the book tells him not to use his own understanding and he will certainly follow the good book..
He's not here to learn, engage, and have a useful debate. To me it seems more like a twisted attempt to witness and convert the godless.

I have also noticed he is not the only one.

The soccer twins have posted

The soccer twins have posted over 30 sermons in two days. I'm wondering if jameswatts and the soccer twins are doing this precisely to make atheists leave in disgust and scare those who are questioning their stance.

It is to the point where it

It is to the point where it is becoming their forum instead of ours, if you go to the debate room right now you will see they and Jameswatts have started every topic on the first page at least.. That's insane, the soccer twins keep bumping their topics up at this point. People asking questions or debating issues rather than trying to preach us to death are not getting a chance.

Perhaps an area could be made for people to proclaim there is a god and we are going to hell if we don't accept this factoid of theirs. Where they can proclaim their beliefs to the high heavens all they want and we can debate this with them. We could call it the acceptance of the lord and the consequences of not section. This way people who cared to try and debate which is seemingly not possible with their ilk in any reasonable fashion they could, the other debate topics section could be used to debate other issues that are important to others on here like gay marriage and the best way to handle situations with theist where they may still want theist input.

Hello all. Just new here but

Hello all. Just new here but when I found James' delightful posts I really enjoyed posting back at him...He be a nutter, lost cause but hey, don't go censorship and block 'em or anything...I Like Zaps idea to have an area for 'them'...but isn't that what debate room forum section is for anyway?

Welcome! but yeah... we have

Welcome! but yeah... we have to adress james and soccergu as seperate entities. No one likes censorship, as atheists we are very fond of this right. Jameswatts and Soccergu... well have you read through their posts? They constantly post what is getting very close to hate speech. You should read all of it, it's more than entertaining. But i personally won't be responding to their antics anymore. They rely very heavily on the bible itself as a source of factual evidence, which as you can imagine is full of emotion and constantly spirals into the cliche circle argument. It's starting to congest the debate forums. in the last like 4-5 days they started like 12 posts to keep other posts off the top.

I just started reading one of the posts by james and couldn't get past a few sentences. Reminds me of some videos on youtube. Atheist Experience? The one with Matt Dillahunty (is that the right spelling?). I'm sure even Matt would snap at these guys. It's pointless to try to reason with them. If they are not banned, let's not respond to him either. His posts could be considered spam since they are barely relevant (they mention God but use none of the tools otherwise used in gauging the validity of a statement) and they are certainly inappropriate. Would the average believer stand with them?

I think Westboro would stand

I think Westboro would stand behind them. lol!

They might just be Westboro

They might just be Westboro people. Their attack on you as a U.S. Marine certainly fits that horrific mind set.

Anurraagg Kumar's picture
If the admins agree that only

If the admins agree that only Westboro would stand with them I don't see any reason why they should be allowed in a debate forum. Aren't they the people even KKK found repulsive? I may be mistaken. The only thing that bothers me is are these "things" scaring away the other believers? Or will it enable normally non-crazy believers to get "unhinged" the way james seems to be? Tolerance needs to have some limits even if the limit is being adjusted now and then.

Replying to them feeds their

Replying to them feeds their desire for an audience. Any attacks allow them to feel the martyr for the cause.
As to censorship, I don't think it applies here. They are the ones drowning out the other voices and miss using the site.

To get rid of all this

To get rid of all this bullshit you target the Jesuit sect, all of them. You wanna get rid of all this false crap? Target the Pope, dont let them screw around with your minds, live free and do as you want on earth

Its time for the Jesuits to back down, its time for the Freemasons to back down. Its time to give the power to the people, and create a new world

Power should not reside in the hands of delusional maniacs who are a disgrace to this planet

The deluded fool now claims

The deluded fool now claims atheism is becoming less popular as more of us are killing ourselves. skimmed over it but he is suggesting we should commit mass suicides? wtf? I really don't want him banned. Instead admins could you guys just make it so his posts are only visible to him? Put him in solitary without his knowledge? I'd like him to rant on where none of us can hear him.

CyberLN's picture
His "atheist suicide day' is

His "atheist suicide day' is dangerous! If we get someone who is fragile coming here for support, the planet may lose that person because of this bullying.
PLEASE, admins, remove his posts about suicide being a good thing!

I am also new here, and I

I am also new here, and I apologize I didn't realize you folks already began the ignore campaign. I have had many rational conversations with theists over the years who have been respectful. This is a troll and nothing more. The "Atheist suicide" thread is so beyond inappropriate and can actually be harmful. If I had a vote, he's go.

Jameswatts has been shown the

Jameswatts has been shown the door. Being the tyrant that I am his last topic was too much of a simple advocation of harm to others for me to tolerate.

To atheist, theist, & deist in this forum-We enjoy debate and discussion here and even heated ones but attempting to encourage people that believe or do not, to commit suicide will get you removed as soon as I see it.

Thank you.

I'm glad I missed the post. My wife had a father and brother commit suicide. It can be devastating to the family.

Zaphod's picture
Sorry to hear of this, it is

Sorry to hear of this, it is true suicide has immense effect on the family of those who make such commitments, there really is no way to convey it to someone who has not witnessed the effects first hand. After witnessing such effects in the past I have decided that if someone commits suicide and I am the first to know I will do my best to cover it up without getting in trouble.
