Venting about french hardline catholics

Hi, i'm venting here. France is considering expanding medically assisted procreation for lesbian couples and monoparental would-be families. Catholics in France (not all of them i presume) already striked against same-sexx marriage in 2015 and now they're here again.

I'm not saying they should have no say in societal matters (althought they are quick to say they are silenced), but what is their problem?????

Thank you! So Damm funny, especially the last one. The funny part, I was viewing it on my smartphone in the living room. My mother passed by and upon listening the beat of the music, she began to dance... She believes a lot about supernatural things

Dammit, Cog! Sitting here at the kitchen table when I listened to those, with the wifey sitting across from me. I'm laughing my ass off and she is shaking her head and glaring at me. Sadly, she has no real appreciation for higher intellectual humor.

My great great grandfather

My great great grandfather had 27 children ... and he was an atheist. His first (common law) wife died in her 40s ... so he took on another young woman. The family's occupations were described as 'Hawker', 'Umbrella maker', 'Box-maker', etc. None of the children were baptised and there were no church marriages.
