It's just funny to me, that

It's just funny to me, that even since I posted this, I have talked about this with at least 4 women, including my GF, and every one of them had no problem saying that generally speaking, women tended to base things a bit more on feelings and emotions and men tended to be more fact based.

I think their are people who read this and think that this is a slam on women, and really it's not. I think each sex compliments the other.

well, i guess they've read it

well, i guess they've read it the wrong way..or you approached it the wrong way..
either ways it really depends on how you take it...

for me, we really don't have any basis of which sex is really rational, for the said question is kinda slam for woman.

I don’t know if you’re

I don’t know if you’re purposefully trying to slam women or not. I do know that you have provided no substantive data to back up your assertions. Asking four women what they think does not constitute sufficient research and does not provide adequate data. Those four women, who think the same way you do, have likely done the same level of ‘research’ you have. Do you think this level of evidence would be acceptable for proving a god?

Have you considered the possibility that it only APPEARS to you that women “base things a bit more on feeling and emotions” because those feelings and emotions to which you refer are not the ones YOU display regularly? Could it be that the display of emotion is rooted in societal permission per gender roles? For example, anger is ok for men and tenderness is ok for women.

@Fishy: Asking four women

@CyberLN: Asking four women what they think does not constitute sufficient research and does not provide adequate data. Well, @Fishy you have other women (and men) here who disagree...

As @CyberLN is pointing out, it's not the emotion, but the display of emotion what is different: @Cyber adds as an example of what you may be thinking: "anger is ok for men and tenderness is ok for women."

@Fishy, I wonder what type of feelings and emotions, that supposedly govern us women, rather than logic and reason, you are referring to...
