-40? are you kidding me? Blecchhh.
It has been 30C plus every day since November here, with occasional leaps into 40C plus for a few days. MINUS 40? bloody hell mate...and you are happy at MINUS 20? FMD....you cant ever trim your pubes up there I guess.

I would think "willy shrink" could become a complete inversion at those temperatures, causing all sorts of havoc as your todger climbs back into your body in search of warmth.
Out here we just worry about end burns...not nice at all.
Don't know if anyones pointed this out yet, but imo every solution we imagine is a band aid on the main problem we seem unwilling or unable to address, and that is an exponentially increasing human population. With finite resources that can only ever end one way.
If you want to reduce your carbon footprint then don't have any children. Nothing else even comes close to that sacrifice.
