Exodus: Gods and Kings

Are you going to watch this movie? The effects and the technology used to make this movie possible is outstanding so I'm really interested in watching this.

I usually love these kinds of

I usually love these kinds of epic movies, but if its anything like Russell Crowe's Noah movie I'll find it very painful.

I suspect that the technology

I suspect that the technology used and special effects in The Guardians of the Galaxy is just as good and it's a far, far more entertaining story.

One just have to remove his

One just have to remove his bias and watch the movie afresh.

I did not see Noah as a very bad move, cg was OK and over all wasn't bad, it lacked some decent action and less drama but wasn't that bad.

This one seems to have more action but, I think the story is just too well known,

BTW the Jews weren't slaves in Egypt as the movie is portraying but it makes sens for the movie.

Idk why some people find Noah

Idk why some people find Noah as one of the worst movies of the year. Maybe they just don't appreciate the creativity that played part on this movie.

The thing I didn't like about

The thing I didn't like about Noah was that they turned Noah into a psychopath, and God into a silent, uncaring tyrant. It felt like an atheist's perspective on the Bible. Maybe it was. I can see why you guys might have liked it ;)

"and God into a silent,

"and God into a silent, uncaring tyrant."

They did not really portray him like that in the movie, else we would have seen someone shouting, why the hell would god kill the babies too.

BTW he is "a silent, uncaring tyrant" in the real story.

I'm watching it. I could care

I'm watching it. I could care less if it is based on biblical stories. If anything I find it amusing that hollywood, that churns out about 99% fiction and make believe, speaks volumes to the historical backing for the story.

It's funny, because before I

It's funny, because before I even got pissed that Hollywood was making another Biblical movie, I got pissed that they once again cast white actors as the main parts in a period piece that would have had little to no white people involved.

Hey it makes a good story,

Hey it makes a good story, which is exactly the book it comes from is. No reason to not enjoy good entertainment and from what I've heard it's not the preachy Kirk Cameron kinda thing, Why not.
