Which is the better person: The one who does good out of seeking reward or fear of punishment, or the person who does good to simply do good and not do bad? This is the major fault with religious beliefs, morals, and ethics; it disguises selfish agendas.
I think most people just want to be Christian because they want to commit sin and still be accepted by society (or at least other Christians) through asking god for forgiveness
In my opinion, the will to treat people with kindness should not have to be incentivized in order to to be executed.
