"What happens once may not happen again, what happens twice surely will" an arabic quote regarding human behaviour. Certainly seems borne out throughout human history.

History certainly does not lack diversity nowadays. As regards creativity? That sounds like making things up...so be careful of your choice of words.

Back in the mid last century your accusation was certainly true, mired as it was in the Victorian sensibilities of Empire and nationalism. Nowadays the astonishing diversity of scholarship, and the plethora of papers, theories, excavations, discoveries and lay interest all over the world except certain Islamic countries is astonishing and wonderful to me.
Us history geeks were always considered boring eccentrics until the last twenty years, now people actually email me for my opinion. I've never had my gaster so flabbed in all my life.

I've even been interviewed a few times for 'living history projects' about various subjects ( it really makes me feel old) including "what was it like to live and play music in the Hendrix (jimmy not James) era?..boy that made me feel 100.

So no, I reject your claim. The study of History now is more vibrant and yes, "creative" than it ever was and with all the new techniques, and despite its relegation to the lower rungs of the school curricula it has a magnificent enthralling future.

I think the trade off of

I think the trade off of losing Histories factual nature in exchange for creativity is worth it. If history is not entertaining its not effective if its not effective who cares if its factual, so might as well ditch the fact checkers and go for creative and entertaining I say. Also how are we to do away with all the offensive parts of history otherwise? Also ponder this many say if we do not learn history we are doomed to repeat it. This is exactly opposite of true and plain common sense and logic can show us this. If we learn about something we would be better equipped to repeat it because we know how it came about and what steps to take to repeat it. However if we collectively forget all of history, we will not know the first step to take to repeat any of it. Ignorance will be our strength!

I abhor any revisionist

I abhor any revisionist attempt at history. That is exactly what religionist propagandist and conservatives do.
Over time new facts that AMEND history are discovered and those FACTS replace the lies.
It has been a fact that history has been written by the victors in most cases, but there has been a concerted effort by conservatives apologist religionist and propagandist to erase parts of history that they don't agree with and replace it with lies that fit their narratives. For the most part, historians take a great deal of care in getting the facts straight and correct. Accuracy is the name of the game.
I started the video but wasn't interested in devoting that much time to something that will basically never happen.

It is a shame you resist

It is a shame you resist humanities next great paradigm shift. Think of everyone who is bored to tears and/or offended by reality! ... The documentary is satire good sir, it shows how flawed it is to cater to the offended.
