Crazy is condemning without

Crazy is condemning without investigation or seeking experience and being one sided, As something as big as the idea of God, Heaven and Hell and something as Small as your brain i would think you would be motivated into the research of both sides and not only what your most comfortable with so you can feel its okay to make fun of others, look at porn, be prideful and live only how you want to live which is just one cause of researching on your desires and not the desires of God. Like if you look at Churches on youtube of Pastors casting out Demons, You will ASSUME they are both crazy living in a delusion psychosis state while you have absolutely no idea about the experience these people have experienced, felt and heard or what the Doctors would report about there brain in a full scan, You will assume its not healthy and they are diagnosed with a mental disorder while having no idea how the actual report would come through, There is channels that have millions of views and big church's with thousands of people who attend, But again, Assuming they are all crazy would be your own opinion at the end of the day which you say the bible is the claim not the evidence while you Yourself is making all the claims and opinions with your own evidence based upon remaining on one side of the track. In this video you will believe its all coincidence or acting to defend your own belief system, No one is born Christian and almost no one grow into adulthood remaining Christian because of the parents, due to the nature of mans rebellious emotions. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TjbllQA3lfo&t=7s

MUM! MUM!...The Irony's burning again!
I've called the fire service...they said you are an idiot because its a complete fire ban....and if you had looked a couple of things up instead of only reading that silly book you would have known it.

Phew!... Good thing my Irony Meter was already out of order. Otherwise, it might have exploded on an atomic magnitude with that post from Apoc.

I've given up...all the latest tech just gives up when confronted with a combination of stupid and refusal to learn.

I've ordered a couple of ex WW3 Irony Meters from Russia. They are a bit heavy at 3.4 metric tonnes each but apparently they will handle an irony surge by just blowing a fused titanium failsafe. The titanium rods come in at 23.6Kg each so not too bad at 130,000 US dollars apiece for replacements.

@Old man shouts ... I have

@Old man shouts ... I have to agree. I have now stepped off the edge of the earth by swinging from one tree too far. There be monsters here. It does absolutely no good to talk sanity to the insane. "Don't want to learn?" "Nay," I say, "Incapable of learning." Stuck in a rut with no way out. I might have gone insane as well if I had wasted years of research on such inane drivel.

Thanks, I agree religion, god

Thanks, I agree religion, god/gods are a waste of years on inane drivel and psychosis based reality.
Religious people don’t want to learn because they are told only their religion needs be learned about.
Not “incapable of learning” but told not to. That that way leads to the devil.
Thanks again

How would your definition be any different for people believing in politics? The fantasy that they are looking out for your best interest. Some voters also have delusions and carry out terrible acts of violence. Some politicians also have delusions of grandeur sending people to war to protect their own interests...oops I mean for the good of mankind. Are all political people psychotic?

Are you psychotic or the exception, according to your perception ?

Hi, thanks for your reply,

Hi, thanks for your reply,
We all grab at what fits and works for us in our lives. Morals change with the wind and we are all believing our own shit and lies we walk around with.
By adding religion into the mix, something with no basis, in reality, adds the concept that you are walking a specific and righteous line. Always moral, always right, is what then you build your life on. But it’s fantasy, magic, and absolutely not moral, yet accepted in various forms Worldwide as not insanity.
Because of this, It is nothing but psychosis.
Going off the rails under the belief of going the right way “politically” is equally stepping away from reality. Conceived moral decisions based on unrealistic beliefs.
Now, included in this, because non-believers are shunned politically due to the prevalence of religious beliefs, most of these are basing their decisions first through the lens of the bible or whatever book is societally en vogue.
So, I guess I would say there is insanity in politics, but you’d be blind to not see it without my opinion.
Am I psychotic?
It is possible, for none of us can know all so my beliefs have the possibility of being based on what there isn’t actual evidence for.
But if I don’t know, I say that.
I came to my stated position not without investing in it and questioning the results I came to.
Mr. Vonnegut’s wise words paraphrased, “...in an insane society a sane person will appear insane.”
I can see by the derision above I’m seen as so, but no one has come back with peer-reviewed proof or evidence that religious beliefs are not psychosis.
Only questioning my sanity and not backing up their own.
Thanks again

Good luck out there

Just an FYI: I don't think that is Vonnegut's quote.

I did say Mr. Vonnegut’s wise

I did say Mr. Vonnegut’s wise words not stating this is the first or only instance for a rough version stretches back to Babylonian tablets.
It was the first instance that came to mind.

I'm not sure why you keep implying a delusion indicates a psychosis, but it doesn't. You seem to have rolled passed the definitions I offered earlier in order to keep making the same claim.

A delusion need not necessarily be part of a pathology, ipso facto it need not represent a psychosis, which is defined as a mental health problem that causes people to perceive or interpret things differently from those around them. Which might involve hallucinations or delusions.

So whilst a psychosis might involve a delusion, a delusion does not necessarily represent a psychosis. You're making the assertion that all delusions are part of a psychosis, this is not supported by the evidence.

please, define “psychosis” in

please, define “psychosis” in a way that belief in god/gods are not an absolute indication of your insanity.
not delusion “psychosis”

@S4Squelch: That has been done now, Two times, above. Why don't you just write a paper to the American Psychological Association and tell them that they are wrong. (800) 374-2721 I'm sure they will receive
your insights with acclaim.

@S4Squelch: “...in an insane society a sane person will appear insane.”
It's as old as a Buddhist Quote from the story of the mad king who lived on a hill.
Mr. Vonnegut is likely just a very well read human being.

@ Nyar

As usual, you are quite correct:

"In a mad world, only the mad are sane." Akiro Kurosawa

"Insanity is a sane response to an insane world" - R.D Laing.

"A sane person to an insane society must appear insane" - Kurt Vonnegut Jr

Hardly an original thought.
