It might be easier to find evidence of Satan than of God.

Cookies?... *looking around room quickly*... Did you say "cookies"? Who the hell has cookies?... *still scanning room*... Dammit, Cog better not be giving away all my cookies again!... *rushing over to kitchen counter*... *removing lock from cookie jar*... *anxiously counting cookies inside*... *sudden sigh of relief*.... Phew! They're all there... *wiping sweat from brow*... Shit, Flat. Don't do me like that. About gave me a heart attack... *closing cookie jar*... *resecuring lock*...

No. I paid them 7 euro to look at some of the enormous wealth they've extorted over the past two millennia.

Still leaving us guess who you are responding to I see. And no it doesn't really matter at all, as you're simply trotting out bizarre unevidenced superstitious fantasies again, unworthy of any serious or substantive response.

I ask again as I did at the start, what objective evidence can you demonstrate for many supernatural demons or spirits? Or any deity, or anything beyond the natural physical world and universe.

Though by now I think the question is redundant, as the answer can be clearly inferred from you ignoring the question.

Another bare unevidenced assertion, I think that if you could demonstrate any objective evidence at all, then you wouldn't waste time making bare assertions. Assertions which always come to naught...

Well, God certainly stands

Well, God certainly stands out a bit more, having killed over 27,000,000 people in the most horrific ways imaginable. Satan only kills 8 people and that trail is a lot harder to follow.

Aw, c'mon now, Flat. You should know better than that. Evidence-schmevidence... *waving hand in dismissal*... It only matters what you FEEEEEEL about something, right?... *look of realization*... If you consider the Bible evidence, then yes. What do you think would be the aggregate death toll for Noah's flood, the nuking of Sodom & Gomorrah, and the plagues of Egypt? Add to those all the people murdered for masturbating, touching the Ark of the Covenant, worshiping a golden calf, and mocking a bald guy. Then there was the Egyptian army drowned in the Red Sea (most of whom were just following orders) , and all the victims of Samson the Serial Killer.

The Old Testament god was a vicious warlord. And then in the New Testament he gets really nasty.

God has never killed anyone. It doesn't exist. People kill people because they think god is telling them to.

Yes I think it's wrong to kill people. I have morality. What about you?

I don't hate god. There's nothing there to hate. I hate the priests who preach violence and cruelty in god's name, and the people who act on their teachings in places like Medieval and early Modern Europe, Salem, Auschwitz, Rwanda, and Ireland.

Religion is the Ebola, heroin, plutonium, and asbestos of the mind.

"Is that why you hate God so much? Because he killed more than Satan?"

Yes, you certainly do seem confused.

How can I hate a being in whom I do not believe?

Perhaps part of your confusion is due to a common assumption made by Christians on this forum. That use of the word 'god' refers to
the Abrahamic god, YHWH. There are some 30,000 religions world wide, with the Hindus alone having 15 MILLION gods. I find the gods of other faiths and their world views no more absurd than the claims of any of the Abrahamic faiths,

IF I go by the Torah , YHWH is certainly worthy of hatred and fear.IE he is petulant, unforgiving, vindictive, cruel, sadistic and genocidal . This is the Jewish god.

Although Christians allegedly worship the same god, it is clear that they do not. (well, apart from the simple minded literalist evangelical beliefs)

My Catholic eduction concentrated on the compassionate , loving Jesus. Very little time l was spent on God The Father . How could I hate Jesus? ---if I believed in the certainty of his historical existence and that he was/ is god? I am agnostic about the historicity of Jesus, and think his historicity is is irrelevant to Christianity. That has nothing to do with my atheism.

For our new little friend/ irritant/ chew toy/troll/whatever:

The word term 'atheist' comes from the Greek: a=without/not and theos=god .

When applied to a person, it means that person does not believe in god(s), NOTHING ELSE IS INFERRED.

In the tedious way of most apologist we get here, this one makes the most common, and egregious mistakes. Although clearly knowing nothing about the topic, he (?) has the hubris to presume to tell atheist what they believe and do not believe.

As with dozens before him , our new little friend skates off into physics, astro physics and cosmology, just for a start. None of these things have anything to with my atheism. I'm not a scientist and don't understand most of it any more than our little friend with his howlers*** of claims .

I used the term 'egregious mistakes" . This because as far as I can see, the mistakes have arisen form a stunning depth of wilful ignorance . Simple lack of intelligence is simply a fact. That he found his way here and has managed to post suggests a basic level of intelligence. Purblind ignorance is not a crime. However, with the ease of gaining information today through IT, perhaps it should be.

I have no patience with the same silly irrelevant claims made by a continuum of arrogant and patronising ignoramuses.

((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((9))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

*** . "A howler is a glaring blunder, clumsy mistake or embarrassing misjudgment, typically one which evokes laughter.[1][2]

The Oxford English Dictionary defines howler, "3.3 slang. Something 'crying', 'clamant', or excessive; spec. a glaring blunder, esp. in an examination, etc.", and gives the earliest usage example in 1872.[3] Eric Partridge's Dictionary of Slang and Unconventional English says; the 1951 edition of Partridge defined it in part as: "... A glaring (and amusing) blunder: from before 1890; ... also, a tremendous lie ... Literally something that howls or cries for notice, or perhaps ... by way of contracting howling blunder."[4]

Another common interpretation of this usage is that a howler is a mistake fit to make one howl with laughter. "

"I don't believe in you."

Interesting piece of sophistry .

WhenI say I don't believe in god(s) I mean I disbelieve in the existence of gods.

To say "I don't believe in you" means in a quality or qualities. The same as saying "I don't trust you" or "I Have no confidence in you" --as far as I'm aware ,it doesn't usually mean"'I don't believe you exist". A bit difficult when one is engaged in two way communication.,of which others can see both sides. If you say "god speaks to me" I have to accept your word. More likely I would suggest psychiatric intervention.

Oh, I wasn't necessarily having a go at you, I was aiming for what's his name (haven't bothered to remember his name) --You show some promise, and a willingness to pay attention, and perhaps learn. Can't say I believe in you, yet, either. But that may come.
