...Officials at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, which is part of HHS, were given a list of seven prohibited words or phrases during a meeting Thursday with senior CDC officials who oversee the budget. The words to avoid: “vulnerable,” “entitlement,” “diversity,” “transgender,” “fetus,” “evidence-based” and “science-based.”
A second HHS agency received similar guidance to avoid using “entitlement,” “diversity” and “vulnerable,” according to an official who took part in a briefing earlier in the week. Participants at that agency were also told to use “Obamacare” instead of ACA, or the Affordable Care Act, and to use “exchanges” instead of “marketplaces” to describe the venues where people can purchase health insurance.
At the State Department, meanwhile, certain documents now refer to sex education as “sexual risk avoidance.”...

Such extremists in the USA are probably dismissive of independent, dispassionate appraisals...

He claims each good jobs report and each new peak in the S&P 500 as his own achievement. In fact, he was lucky in his inheritance. The market has risen by 25% since his election, but is up by 195% since 2009. The unemployment rate fell from a peak of 10% to 4.7% under Barack Obama and then to 4.1% on Mr Trump’s watch. His administration says that a mix of deregulation and corporate-tax cuts will spur sustained GDP growth of 3%, well above the 2% average of recent years. As the economy approaches full employment, an astonishing pickup in productivity would be needed to accomplish that.
Unquote.
I understand that USAmericans don't care what the world thinks as long as their freedom and economic success aren't unfairly infringed, but the current administration is doing enormous damage to US society and its soft power and influence around the globe. The TTP appears to be going ahead without the USA with rules set by more by China than is in anybody's interests, including the Chinese.
Viewed from the UK, this looks an understandable reaction rather than unprofessionalism and reflects the deep divisions in the electorate of which the FBI is representative, quote:
In one exchange in March 2016, Ms Page refers to Mr Trump as a "loathsome human" with Mr Strzok responding, "Yet he may win," later saying, "America will get what the voting public deserves."
In another exchange, in October 2016, Mr Strzok writes to Ms Page: "I am riled up. Trump is an (expletive) idiot, is unable to provide a coherent answer. I CAN'T PULL AWAY. WHAT THE (expletive) HAPPENED TO OUR COUNTRY??!?!"
On the day of the election, he wrote: "OMG THIS IS (expletive) TERRIFYING: A victory by Mr. Trump remains possible..."
