Mass of a Platinum Iridium cylinder

My world has been thrown into turmoil. Not even the mass of a platinum Iridium cylinder, securely kept under climate controlled conditions and locked away from prying human hands, remains consistent over time. Let's all be thankful for the one kilogram sphere of Silicon 28 ems. which is saving us from complete and total disaster.

Then there is Aerogel. Is this evidence of the existence of ghosts? Probably not, but it can prevent chocolate bunnies from melting. Easter will never be the same once we can turn this stuff into chocolate bunny wrappings.

Just some interesting shit I found on the web today.
