My husband and I just adopted a beautiful 11month old boy named Ken (short for Kenichi). We are just thrilled!

Congrats, my friend is in Australia with his family, and he left his Labrador with his mum, and she has a short haired terrier, so I and my friends have been on walking duties for three weeks.

Nice! He really has those ears on high alert!... *chuckle*... That is a very smart breed of dog there. Like Old Man said, get him logged on to the AR. I'm fairly confident he could easily make minced meat out of some of our recent theist visitors... lol...
Terrific! I Iove Shepherds . Had one once, beautiful dog lovely personality yet very protective. .Also dumb as a bag of hammers.
They say be careful fo what you wish. I wanted a dog 'a bit smarter' than Lady the Shepherd or Shadow my Pit Bull (also lovely personality, but dumber than Lady,)
-----Now, I have a Jack Russell. Distressingly energetic and too smart for his own good, and of course I love him to bits.

I love dogs.
The theists can claim their god made the wolf but we made the dog...I dont think the mythical Abrahamic god likes dogs and their relationship with humans...jealousy, you know? They are always curs and mongrels in the bible and Mohammed disliked dogs outright...I suspect they didnt like him.

Well, there is that strong sense of smell enjoyed by our canine friends. That would certainly explain it.
. To a man who raped little girls, a dog would have been too hard to handle.

I grew up with a German Shephard dog that my dad handled during his time with the ministry of defence and he was wonderful!

The picture is of our two-year-old teenage delinquent Maltese Rosie. She looks hungry and neglected because she's had nothing to eat for at least three minutes.
