Burning hydrogen produces a considerable amount of energy in the form of heat. Does anyone reading this really believe you can reverse that process at a reduced cost of energy? Anyone? Something for nothing? Just fabricate the magic new "robust catalyst", and voila - our energy and greenhouse gas problems are over?
More anti-science, and nothing else.

Did you even read the article? At the end of the article it gives the information on the scientist that did the research. The article never said anything about solving our energy or greenhouse gas problems. All it says is a new way to split water to make hydrogen. Do you believe that climate change is a hoax?

I think I heard a dog yapping in here.
Great article. As it clearly says, the material is a highly efficient water-splitting catalyst that can be made using cheap materials instead of platinum. You still need to apply electricity to split the water. If you hear of anyone stupid enough to think otherwise, I'd like to sell them a perpetual motion machine.
