I'm already unhappy about having to pay more taxes so that your church doesn't have to -- as if your church is some kind of public service. But that's the law we've got. However, the second you use that money to advocate for a specific political position, the pretense of public service goes out the window: you are now a political actor, possibly acting in opposition to my own political views, and yet I am forced to fund you. This is a travesty of democracy.
