It is true that a lot of my past I have forgotten and a lot of my present I will forget just as I have forgotten a lot of my past , however a lot of my past I still do remember and I remember that part of my life because it had significance. I will form new memories of the present but only those memories will persist which are reenforced or those with great significance.

Thus if lord Krishna exists he is either far too insignificant for me to remember or he does not exist (a natural consequence of your own example)
