i don't believe in miracles. if i did, all of us will rely on it.no one would figure out how to cure any illnesses, if something good will happen or someone healed, we'd all probably say "it's a miracle!!!... it's a miracle!!!..."
I don't believe in hiding and protecting sexual predators who molest and abuse innocent and helpless children, but if I did, I would be a Catholic priest.

You are foolish to worship a weak god. You should worship a mighty god.
You should worship Odin.
Your god' s son never knew a woman and ended up nailed to a board.
Odin' s son knew countless women, and he has a big hammer.

I forget where I read this (and I'm paraphrasing) about which god I'd worship: "While your god's offer of eternal life is interesting, I'm inclining to the Frog God of Papua New Guinea, who's offering a pig, and all the coconuts I can carry."
That's certainly more quantifiable than some open ended, vaguely defined contract.
Suppose you play the game, get eternal life - and hate it?
A pig and a mess of coconuts starts looking to be the more desirable reward.
I don't believe in a magic Jewish zombie who is a god but if I did I would be insane.
I don't always drink beer, but when I do... Wait wtf am I talking about? I Love beer.

If god is at least as reasonable as I am, it doesn't matter if I believe in it. If god does not exist, or is not as reasonable as I am, it does not matter if I believe in it.
