Is this proof that:
1) God doesn't exist.
2) God doesn't care.
3) Even mosques are not holy enough.
4) God is just plain unpleasant.
5) Cranes are bad things.
6) Shit happens.

As far as I can tell, the only thing it proves is that shit happens.
Good. I added that option.
The exact same thought I had Cyber....
Gravity is a bitch, and because of that, so are dense and massive objects.
God, you guys are just so boring...no sense of humour.
The more I interact with you, the more I think you are another alt for Kenny.
You're being disagreable...nothing could be further from the truth...I'm not an alt for anyone. I could be rude but I won't be.
It may have to to take an even greater disaster in mecca before some people really start questioning god .......as it is said to have happend after the Lisbon earthquake in 1755......
Could it be that maybe those people were sinners and deserved this fate...or maybe God wanted to teach them a lesson...or maybe this was part of His master plan because don't forget, He works in MYSTERIOUS ways!!
It's a terrible accident that better regulations regarding construction equipment could have prevented (not keeping a fully extended crane up during notoriously brutal sandstorms would be a start), but it's rather petty and callous to try and 'score points' over the bodies of these people. We can claim that their faith is meaningless and that their time would have been better spent at home, but saying they deserved it or that Deus Vult is despicable.
