And the xtianity radio button is now unchecked.....

Something is not right here....

I'm not sure what the radio button is, but yep...the gender's definitely changed. Maybe we're being used to get extra credit in an apologetics class?

Okay, I must be blind or

Okay, I must be blind or insane, because I seem to be the only one who does not see the link to that site aes256 mentioned. (And I'm pretty sure I'm not blind.)

Its not there any more! Either she got cold feet and took it down after the quality of the questions or her teacher asked her to take it down in a blue funk, OR Cyber and Nyar took it down for whatever reason they saw fit. And Lastly, maybe "she" was just a proselytising troll who got shit scared when the responses started coming and "she" couldn't give an answer to any of them!

You've missed nothing it was a real crappy web page only, with muzak (aaaarrrrrgh) looks like it was done by a teen with absolutely no friends and less talent.

I don't know why more of you

I don't know why more of you are not pointing out the logical fallacy to this poster. The professor is being dishonest. He is challenging his students to disprove an un-falsifiable claim and then he pretends he has defeated them. Do you not think he has a relevant Christian apologitic for every question asked. The teacher has unethically and dishonestly shifted the burden of proof onto his students. The only real question is to shift the burden back where it belongs with questions like, "What evidence do you have for the existence of the God you assume exists."

The professor is simply trying to act like a pedantic ass in front of a bunch of students that just don't know any better. He is dishonest and manipulative and should be teaching them about the null-hypothesis, logic and reason.

I don't think the students get much of that in Christian high schools, if this phone call two apologetics students made to the Atheist Experience is anything to go by:

He he he ... Without even

He he he ... Without even watching it I know Matt is going to run circles around them. I wish he was as comfortable in a debate as he is on the phone. He always seems out of his element in formal debates and does not call people to task in debates as he does on the phone.

He was quite gentle with them, really, but he did trip them up quite neatly on the inconsistencies in their own beliefs- or rather, they tripped themselves up- and they realised it. There was dead silence from them when it happened. I think they went away from the call with a few questions in their own minds. I hope so. They seemed like nice, bright kids, just victims of their upbringing. The bizarre thing is the kids made the call so they'd get extra credit in apologetics class. Perhaps that's why we get young drive bys here, too, Cog?

Ask him what objective

Ask him what objective evidence he can demonstrate that his deity is real?

If he tries offering subjective arguments, and or anecdotal claims nail his ass, and tell him the bible can't be used to validate it's own claims anymore then Harry Potter books validate wizardry.

Ask if his deity is sadistic and cruel, or just inept and indifferent to the ubiquitous suffering in it's 'creation'?

Ask him why his deity is hiding from so many people that are either born into other religions or are atheists because no one can demonstrate any objective evidence for it's existence.

Ask him why the bible is so often wrong about things like the origins of the universe and human / all life evolving. If tries to deny evolution is a scientific fact, ask him to name 3 scientific facts he denies that don't in any way contradict his religious beliefs. If he can't do this point out he is using selection bias to cherry pick science.

Now we are on the right track.

Have the professor prove god claims whatever they are.

If God is real, why is it prayer does not work?

As Reported in the New York Times: https://www.nytimes.com/2006/03/31/health/31pray.html

"Prayers offered by strangers had no effect on the recovery of people who were undergoing heart surgery, a large and long-awaited study has found.) New York Times, And patients who knew they were being prayed for had a higher rate of post-operative complications like abnormal heart rhythms..."

That bit fascinates me. It's like they got performance anxiety.
