Sigh.. if only the theory of evolution stopped where primates begin.
So, are we to consider cartilaginous and exoskeletons also or just bony skeletons?
You can consider whatever you like. My focus was with human evolution, or at the very least the evolution of animals with muscles and skeletons. But I don't know if you believe we evolved from animals with exoskeletons or something. So explain first, and I'll judge if it answers my questions.
If you are focusing on human evolution what was wrong with my post about primate evolution?
Well that primates didn't pop out of the blue. They evolved from another species that evolved from another species. My question is, if you go back far enough, what evolved first, muscles or skeletons.
Again, what types of skeleton? I might add also, what types of muscle? Jelly fish have muscles. So do sharks. Sharks have a cartilaginous skeleton. Jelly fish have no skeleton. If you could be more specific , in the morning I will be your Google Daddy and provide you with links to scientific sources for the answer.
Take into account the separate evolutions of eyes and wings and you might understand my request for clarification.
I mean just focus on human evolution then. If we evolved from sharks or jellyfish way back in the distant past, then so be it I guess.
Well, humans evolved from animals that had primate muscular skeletal systems. Already said that.
Good, if you already said that then don't say it again. Isn't that the definition of insanity? Repeating yourself and expecting a different result?
I am not making claims. I am asking for clarification of your questions. Do you understand?
I don't know how much clearer I can be.
Clear as mud!
"I'm not sure what the connection is between cell walls and muscles."
Muscles along with various other tissues are made up of cells. (Or do you not have faith in that evidence?)
Cells that you John 6IX Breezy have in your own body. Cells that evolve everyday, adapt to the constant environmental variations you subject it to.
You may not believe in evolution but your body carries it out everyday.
Which means you are rejecting your own self...
Duh there are cells for everything. You might as well have said we are made of atoms.
John,
What do you believe came first?
Go ask an expert.
I'm sorry I didn't mean to hurt your feeling... I saw you answered this earlier. Come on let's hug this out no need to cry over a debate. Next time just answer the question directly vs always trying to escape.
By the way how do sea slugs move if they don't have a skeletal system? This is according to your hypothesis.
You have to understand, I have sheep-like brain. I follow your example, which so far has been to cry and complain, and avoid answering questions.
Ask me a question my child and I shall show you the path to knowledge.
What evolved first: Muscles or Skeletons?
My hypothesis is that both could of developed at the same time in different species. If you give more detail to your question I can answer it with more detail.
I don't care about your hypothesis. Give me evidence or go home.
Give me details or stop asking broad questions... bones never developed is sea snails for example. So give more details and I can give answers with evidence. Or do you just not really care?
@Burn, he's just trying to pay the jibe back... Why don't you follow our subthread? John's acting argumentative (and even persuasive) on this.
If bones are never developed in sea snails, then they're irrelevant to the conversation.
Me: What came first, chicken or the egg?
You: Spider eggs never develop into chickens. Give me more details or stop asking broad questions.
@Angiebot lol, its fun to play cat and mouse with people that like to argue.
John when you ask an open question and do not define what you mean clearly people will have follow up questions in order to gather info to properly answer the question( some people actually want to talk about truths) you however give no detail then claim others need evidence when they answer this broad question. You are little pathetic and a terrible representation of your religion. You consistently avoid questions on this thread as well as others. I now understand why you follow a the Bible as well as a god. You are weak, from every post or answer you make you show me more and more of your true character. At least I answer when you question me you have not answered me directly on any one question. You have either ignored or insulted. You are exactly what I expect from a theist.
I will follow what Angie bot suggested but what I think she meant ( I may be wrong ) is you are not worth the time and energy!
feel free to comment on any of my threads but if you do, I will hold you to your own rules. Next time you comment it better be an answer to my proposed question.
To use the tactics of my father Nyar...
BYB - "You ask very DETAILED questions...."
BYB - "When you ask an open question and do not define what you mean clearly people will have follow up questions... you however give no DETAIL..."
The question hasn't changed? So is it too detailed, or not detailed enough?
You are correct and I do apologize for not divulging further...
When it comes to the question what came first skeleton or muscles you have not defined in what species or at what point in time in the evolutionary tree
You also have not defined what you mean as far as skeleton( endo vs exo)... This is what I mean by not detailed.
When I said you asked a very detailed question I meant you came to an atheist forum to ask a question that most people that have not spent years studying evolution and specifically very early evolutionary development, would have a hard time answering.
But when I am wrong I do not have a problem
A) explaining what I meant.
B) admitting is was incorrect
Oh and by the way I clicked on agree
This is something you should learn.
Nyar's prodigal son, indeed xD
P.S. And good answer, @Burn.
@Burn: I will follow what Angie bot suggested but what I think she meant ( I may be wrong ) is you are not worth the time and energy!
Hey, I didn't read that. No, not at all, and I'm serious. @JohnBreezy is an intelligent young man, although he still believes religious bs, but just because I've only been here for a while and I haven't taken the time to convince him yet (but all in good time, @John hehe).
John can be frustrating sometimes, because he pays attention to details and he's very vindictive (you can account for that in this thread). On the other hand, he's passionate and -most of the times- honest in debate, and he knows quite a lot about evolution, and Science in general; and I enjoy his sarcasm, so I reeeally -lol- like him, although in a kind of love-hate way xD.
