I know finding information like that can be tough. So for starters: what is the most reliable source you can find that mentions this prediction as having happened (even if it does not give dates)?

If anyone had an 85% prediction rate, Las Vegas would not be in business. As for anyone asserting a prediction has happened, you have to see the actual prediction first. Is it specific or general. Attributing all sorts of crap to the mumbling of a senile old blind lady is a whole lot different than the woman writing down a specific prediction. Nothing anyone has posted supports any kind of evidence for any kind of prediction.
search baba vanga success rate it comes up. Most people who look at her predictions claim they are 85% correct i dont buy it but i am just trying to see if anyone on this site knows anything about her so far not much help though just the duhh comments
A quick reading of the Wikipedia talk page on the article about her; seems that reliable information about her predictions is basically non-existent. It also mentions some of the claims discussed in the thread, and why they do not appear in the article about her (no reliable sources).

Story time. (True story, by the way.)
Several years ago during my time on a drug task force team, there was a restaurant my team frequented during our lunch breaks. Across the street from that restaurant was a very well known Psychic/Palm Reader business. The place had been there for as far back as I could remember. So the guys and I are going into the restaurant to eat one evening, and one of my teammates asked, "Hey, did you guys hear about the psychic lady over there? I heard she got killed in a car wreck a few days ago." Without missing a beat or even breaking stride, I responded, "Damn. She must not have been a very good psychic. You'd think she would have seen that shit coming and avoided it." Would you believe I actually got a bunch of "Boo's" from them? Of course, then they all started laughing. Personally, I think they were all just initially jealous they didn't think of it first. *Grin*
The last psychic I went to got angry at me. I kid you not. She started in on her gold reading crap as she began reading my palm with all sorts of general questions. I remember one point she made that was so far off it was ridiculous but she counted it as a hit. "You were in the military." "Nope, never been in the military." "But your life is very regimented." "Nope, I'm on semester break and I just do what I want to do. Mostly just go to Karate class." "Oh, Karate is like being in the military because you are following orders." BS psychic. As I sat there unresponsive to her inquiries she told me, "You have to give me some feedback." To which I replied "Why? You are the psychic." And the "No's" continued to flow from my mouth and she made miss after miss about the events in my life.
