It has been that practice here in Australia since the Royal Commission...but are two priests better or worse than one?
They are also kicking back against the legislation that they must report any case of abuse, from the confessional or not....it is certainly losing them even more friends....LOL

Two priest could be worst than one.
I think the Oz government should consider revoking Oz passports of priests who refuse to dob in a pedaphile and send them back to the Vatican.
By refusing to observe our laws in favour of those of their church they reveal their lack of concern for our nation's children. Its just another form of fundamental terrorism.
We do the same with those who enlisted with ISIS and we would at least imprison those who aid abet and not disclose the identities of those who threaten our society.
They can get their reward in their afterlife.
