Did Jesus say what he means

Did Jesus say what he means by this is that God can make 2+2= 5 or that he can make himself not exist and so forth? No. The reason why I call it a straw man is that I know of no theistic school of thought that believes your concept of what an all powerful God would be. Are there some very ignorant people that think God can do logically contradictory things? I am sure there are but that isn't most theists.

Dumb Ox - ...[God] cannot do

Dumb Ox - ...[God] cannot do what is evil

V.S.

Proverbs 16:4 - The LORD has made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.

Note; I haven't argued that omnipotence means you can do self contradictory things, like say make a square circle.

You atheists proof text worse

You atheists proof text worse than Protestants. It does not say God made evil or that God made man evil and it certainly does not give a long lucid explanation of what it means in that one sentence. Let me offer a different interpretation. God made men who would become wicked so that on the last day they would be judged and revive there just reward. And before you say that God made them so they would be damned, keep in mind the Bible also says that He does not desire the death of a sinner.

And before you say that God

And before you say that God made them so they would be damned

That wasn't was I was suggesting, but now that you mention it; that is actually taught by some churches! They believe that certain people were created (by god) for the specific purpose of testing the faith of the flock. They refer to them as "vessels of destruction":

Romans 9:21 23 - Has the potter no right over the clay, to make out of the same lump done vessel for honorable use and another for dishonorable use? What if God, desiring to show his wrath and to make known his power, has endured with much patience vessels of wrath prepared for destruction, in order to make known the riches of his glory for vessels of mercy, which he has prepared beforehand for glory

edit to add: Oh they also believe that proselytizing to a vessel of destruction is a sin, because it is an attempt to alter god's plan (or something like that). They sometimes blame bad things that happen in life to associations with vessels of destruction. Like for instance they might say: you didn't get that flat tire because someone left a screw in the road; you got that flat tire because you had dinner at that vessel of destruction's house last week.

Atheist definition of omnipotence: All Powerful.
Theist definition of omnipotence: All powerful, but.., except.., also.., if.., and.., because...
.... ---long while later---.... "there, I made it work! See?! My god concept still works!

Why do you put human

Why do you put human limitation on your god? Are you saying your god doesn't have the power to do logical contradictory things? Either your god is all powerful and can do everything, or your god is just powerful and can't do everything? Simple questions, if you can't answer them I understand. This is not a straw man.

It comes down to two answers, either god is all powerful and can do everything, or god is powerful and can't do everything. If you can prove that a god is real, then you have to prove which god it is that humans worship.

How do you define all powerful then? You can't answer my question, so you say I'm attacking a straw man. Either your god is all powerful and can do everything, or your god is just powerful and can't do everything.

I think this adequately sums

I think this adequately sums up the theist contribution to this post...
