We aren't evidence of any god.
We are evidence of the processes of physics and chemistry. Abiogenesis? We can only speculate for the moment, but its very clear the answer will best be revealed through scientific research, rather than pious navel gazing and wish fulfilment.

My brother and I use to make radio transmitters and receivers out of clumsy old valves and condensers etc, guitar amplifiers using transistors, and my dear bro made the first digital watch I ever saw (early 70s) clumsy and definitely unfashionable. In my spare time I constructed computers from selected parts and created some awesome gaming rigs. I have worked for computer companies and for those that made hearing aids and cochlear implants devices I personally benefit from. My knowledge that science works in not in question. Your understanding of it certainly is.

Life is not some dystopian sci-fi simulation and neither is it controlled by supernatural deities. My interest goes dead cold whenever anyone uses those two preposterous ideas to explain reality.
I did use the word 'stupid', but I also call human beings, human beings. Unless people emulate computers you seem to enjoy trashing them as being incapable of utilising reason or logic, not understanding your particular view about reality or being unwitting victims of some perceived brainwashing conspiracy by Science (note the respectful capital S); a claim you can not evidence.

You invoke Christian principles but avoid a straight out commitment to it, preferring to label yourself a 'wannabe', some enigmatic rogue outrider of the faith. That's ok, you are free, as we all are, to believe whatever you want. Its just another claim anyway. I question what brings you here to make claims and attacks on our intelligence and supposedly imminent post-death culling for how stupid...sorry how brainwashed we are. All I see is another ego enjoying an invalid sense of superiority due to their special understanding of god. The age of the Prophet is a long time gone.

My bet is SETI will find nothing, if only because of the size of the universe. In twenty years the largest single computerised endeavour ever organised has only just finished covering 2% of the known universe. At that rate it will take 1,000 years to scan the entire universe. We're going to have to settle into some serious social and economic global stability if we intend to finish this first scan.

It was playfully noted a long time ago, by Asimov I think, or Clarke, that the very first radio contact of earth by an alien civilisation may be the earliest transmissions of I Love Lucy. That would be embarrassing but I add that at that point Earth might be in the process of being engulfed by our dying Sun.

Anyway back to my blissful ignorant ways.

Here. Let's say you went outside on a clear evening and looked up at Alpha Centauri A through a telescope.
You noticed it that it's light intensity was changing from normal to very dim at a relatively high frequency.

The level of sheer unadulterated utter bollocks displayed by one poster, has really hit epic levels.

But this was beyond spectacular.

'Very dim' ironically is the only words needed.
