Dear Koukla I`m sorry if you in reading my thread come away like I was attacking you. I f you notice I asked you in a form of a question if you were blaming god or angry with him, I never asserted that you were any of these here. And now I been ruthlessly attacked here by the others. Possibly because you proselytised on a thread after the OP made it crystal clear she finds proselytising deeply upsetting and hurtful. Possibly because you did it in our space - an atheist forum. What would you say if we turned up in your space at religious schools, bible study groups, churches and hospital beds, stridently promoting militant atheism to believers despite being politely asked not to? Would you call say we were simply expressing our opinion, or woukd uou think our motives were a little less innocent? Does do unto others ring a bell, AB? I try to live my life by it: it's easy enough to remember since you find the Golden Rule in EVERY religion as well as secular Humanism. Forgetting it takes an act of will.

Yeah, I've noticed the activity here sorta comes in "spurts" during certain hours. Sorry about the delay, by the way. Wife and I went out to the movies today. Saw the new Star Wars flick. Better than I expected it to be. Just got home. Just wanted to check up on you concerning that mess last night. Doing great on this end now that I finally simmered down a bit. *chuckle*. Glad to hear you are okay. Stay strong.
Hey Tin-man, thanks for checking up on me. I decided to step back last night and see how things roll on AR. I might've jumped in too quickly and messed up a bit; I was too hard on a 17-yr-old member on a different thread and then I might've been too soft.....I like how everyone speaks their mind and is not afraid to say it as it is. I'll get the hang of things. I suffer a lot from chemo brain so I've lost a lot of my vocabulary and don't express myself clearly but that'll get better with more time.
The cinema is such a treat, glad you enjoyed the movie :) I wish I were a Star Wars fan, not too many good movies out there.

Honestly, I'm not a big fan of the newer Star War movies. I was raised on the originals, and they will always be my favorites. However, the latest one I saw today was fairly entertaining in its own way.
As for AR, don't worry about him. You don't have to respond to him in any way. Ignore him as much as possible. He is nothing but a troll, and they have been dealing with him on here off and on way before I even joined. Like I said last night, we've got your back. Just pretend that mindless little twit isn't even there. Keep staying strong.

No you weren't, Koukla. Your answer to him was an honest, angry cry from the heart. I've had a few interactions with that young padawan now, and from what I've seen of him he'll be asking himself why you were so angry. That's what the Jedi do. We teach padawans to ask why. You didn't mess up, you furthered his knowledge.
The different timelines we're all in account for the activity spurts. Pity me. I can rarely be part of a lively, back and forth discussion because by the time I arrive you've all gone to bed or work or whatever.
