I was talking about the experience itself. The during part. What is causing us to have such an amazing experience?
Hormones, chemicals. We are wired to enjoy it for the survival of our species.
So how did these hormones and chemicals come to be? And wired by who?
Evolution.
Evolution is a process that we discovered was happening. Evolution is not a first cause of anything.
There's probably an evolutionist paper out there arguing that such an experience was advantageous for reproduction, and was therefore selected for; but then again, there's probably another evolutionist paper out there arguing that such an experience is has no benefit for reproduction, and is only an emergent property of whatever other thing they think it stems from.
Sure, it has advantages for reproduction, but that does not explain what caused it to be in the first place. I think-Yes, our intelligent creator had us evolve with a sex drive so we would procreate and keep the species alive. And I guess the atheist response would be that nothing had us evolve with a sex drive but we still mysteriously have one..
I completely agree. DAMN SCIENTISTS cant make up their frigging minds. What in the hell good is all those years of school if they are going to write nonsensical letters about stupid theories that omit my favorite GOD. I would be just as pissed about this as you are if I were you.
Probably? Not very scientific. Do you think a species that finds reproduction unpleasant is more, or less, likely to replicate it's DNA and survive as one of the species we now see?
Or is this another long winded baited argument from ignorance trap, where we traipse needlessly through the fact of evolution, only for the theists to point out it doesn't explain where how life originated? Only if it is calculus doesn't explain how life originated, and is no less valid for that.
What underlying force would even care if we survived or not? The force of nothing?

This is why I doubt you are a scientist. Evolution is human made term to describe a process that we discovered was happening. It is a theory that is full of tons and tons of conjecture and speculation..Any biologist can confirm that for you. It is also not the first cause of life, food, or anything else.
And any scientist (as I am a working one) can confirm you are an Internet Troll.

I am talking about the amazing part of the experience, the flood of orgasmic ecstasy. How does that come about? Why are we experiencing it?
If we did not, the species would be long dead. Study human anatomy. I shall be the first to say, "I do not know" the complete answer. I know it has something to do with nerves, and pleasure centers of the brain.
You can also ask this question: "If it was meant for male-female copulation for the perpetuation of the species, then how come it can still feel just as good with masturbation?"

So why would we have pleasure centers and chemical rushes do you think? And why do we suffer so much emotional pain from grief, divorce, hurt feelings, etc? And why we have the necessary mechanisms to want to procreate and keep the species alive? You really think that just happened out of the blue for no reason? Luck again perhaps?

No, not even remotely what I think at all, clearly natural selection evidences why it happened, a person would have to have a two digit IQ not to see it as well.

You would have to have a two digit IQ to pretend natural selection is a first cause, and then type sentences where you pretend that's what someone is referring to.
