You did pick up my brain thought signals!!!

I stick by my original perception; mental illness or troll.

OF COURSE, I'm not a doctor ,so might be completely wrong about the mental illness. There is a third option. He may just be a common or garden variety fool.

I'm unable to suffer fools. A personal flaw I know, and I'm doing my best to be more tolerant. I've actually made huge strides in the last ten years, I assure you. I've gone from dead cunt to curmudgeon.

Just my two cents about Johan

Just my two cents about Johan, for what it's worth...

If Johan is a guy who genuinely believes all of the things he has relayed to us so far, then I am fairly confident most everybody here would agree he has some SERIOUS psychiatric/emotional issues, and should seek some professional help immediately. And there is obviously NOTHING anybody here can do to help him if that is the case. Moreover, (in my humble opinion) if he does have a legitimate mental illness, it would seem to me that his being allowed to remain here is only enabling and exaggerating that condition. Just doesn't seem right to me.

On the other hand, if Johan does NOT have some form of mental illness, that (to me) indicates he is nothing more than a sick and twisted malicious troll who isn't worth a drop of rat piss.

Either way, we are over - what? - eleven pages into this thread now? And the guy has become gradually worse and worse in his delusions since he started. Again, just my opinion, but if the guy is legitimately psychotic in some fashion, then allowing him to stay is apparently making his condition worse. And if he is a troll, then he has had more than his share of fun and has done more than enough chain-jerking, as far as I'm concerned. Again, just my observation of the situation. (And I am not even remotely trying to be a sarcastic asshole about this. My concern is actually genuine, and if the guy does has some genuine problems, then I do hope he is able to get the appropriate help for it. But if he is some special species of warped troll, then he can go fuck himself.)

Re: Johan

Yep. Concur. I've caught him in several lies now about his supposed "persecution" and after claiming I was possessed by some "evil spirit" that is "directing me" to say such things then he has not replied since.

I pointed out that that behaviour was hardly "loving and kind" in the same post.

Unhinged? Troll? Unhinged troll? Fuck knows, don't care. He has for all his "poverty" enough time to be on the internet all day (at someone else's expense) I guess, and by a few comments on one of his FB pages (he has a few with different ID) spends a good amount of time at the pub ......well he did, of course they are all closed in S Africa at the moment.

So my conclusion he is deluded liar, showboating and leeching of good hearted victims...oh wait...isn't that what a Pastor actually does? Nothing to see here, move along.

"Have an agree sir, you have nailed Johan-the narcissistic liar".

All that is necessary now is to just give us your case. Which is necessary for a "judgement". Because without it you are acting Judge while you are not. And you can not be "cheered". So do it well. Give your evidence to lift you out of your present "slander" position.

Seems you are "stubborn" too. Because I did previously speak to you about these "self promotion" to what you are not yet. Don't curse again. I am not angry at you. God died for your "slander". You are Forgiven. I am just giving you the Light in the darkness of human life.

I'm inclined to agree, and in my experience these are not mutually exclusive either.

Ok. I am a "mental troll"? Or an "ill troll" sounds better. But then it is just a "troll". What do you suggest? A "trollental?

Sheldon's picture
@Johan

@Johan

No suggestion is needed. It's clear you're trolling, especially since you were good enough to link your posts from another site, where your trolling got you banned.

You have posted nothing of any value since you arrived, just the same endlessly pretentious and disjointed rants, reeling off the same bizarre and unevidenced claims.

I'd suggest you desist from this pointless trolling, but where is the sense in telling a troll to stop trolling.

Yes really I am getting tired of only going to places I have to go.

And yeah instead of spouting that he's talking to his god. I don't understand how people can believe in things without any-kind of actual evidence. Christianity will be phased out eventually, I just hope people do not replace it with some other god.

I agree that's probably the case for large numbers. However, that's a personal prejudice ,I can't prove it.

Personal incredulity for a position is an argument from ignorance logical fallacy.

((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((9)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

Alternate names
argument by lack of imagination
argument from personal incredulity
Form
P1: One can't imagine how X could be true.
P2: (unstated) If X is true, then one could imagine how X could be true.
C: X is false.
Explanation
The fallacy lies in the unstated premise. If a state of affairs is impossible to imagine, it doesn't follow that it is false; it may only mean that imagination is limited. Moreover, if no one has yet managed to imagine how a state of affairs is possible, it doesn't follow that no one will ever be able to.

If there is positive evidence for the conclusion, then, of course, we have other reasons for accepting it, but a lack of proof it is true is not proof it is false. (Where 'proof' means the cogency of evidence that compels acceptance of a truth, or the process of establishing the validity of a statement by derivation from other statements in accordance with principles of reasoning.)

Forbidding this type of reasoning is not the same as a reasonable "presumption" (such as the presumption of 'No guilt' in court) like this:

Any proposition like "There is X" is reasonably presumed false (not argued false, just presumed false, taken for granted) unless proven true.
This is a basic principle of logic since the burden of proof can never be shifted to the negation in any case.

I don't need a god to feel special. I feel special just because I think different from the idiot god believers. Well, they aren't idiots, some are pretty smart, but they don't seem to understand what a fact is when trying to prove their god.

If you feel special because you are no "idiot" and there is no "idiot" then how can you feel special?

Feeling special because you think you are better than someone else (idiot) is also not good. It is selfishness. This is destroying Relationships. In Relationships we have to give who and what we are for the benefit of others. And in them benefiting we find our Joy and Happiness.
