Universal laws I think are very interesting one reason being that the concept of god works outside of the universal laws we live in,which is why I think most religious and spiritual believers are so strong about there belief because that is actually one of the basics that makes sense to me and a lot of people. so I want to get into detail about universal laws could there be a multiverse which means there are different sets of universal laws?does that explain how something can work outside of our universal laws? My answers is yes and I am going to leave it there for now. Also god is claimed to be infinite Has no beginning or end, what could explain that is a different set of universal laws other than our own were that is a possibility. does something that is infinite need anything to exist?Could nothing be the reason why something comes into existence? this one is a little tricky because it requires a starting point which could totally be inside the laws of that universe for something to be created from nothing at a random or specific period in time and the reason why It was created is nothing!I would like to have and intellectual subjective conversation about the topic if possible people I would like for everyone who reads this to have new thoughts!!

Infinities can have beginnings and ends. But don't let me get in the way of your bong smoke.
Also didn't you claim god was a scalar quantity a while back; you know when you equated god and energy?
I never said infinities could not have beginnings or endings that is something I don't care to argue. so I assume It went over your level of understanding rather than asking for clarification on a specific part that is confusing to you, you rather go off topic and create a sub topic and not comment on what this forum is about.also I have a great job I dont want to risk it by smoking what we in the hood call weed "loud".
Weed should be legal and maybe if I smoke ill understand your op. Give me a sec;)
Ya. Still confused.
in a nutshell: 1.could nothing the reason why something with no beginning or end exist based on the laws of that universe?
2.could nothing be the reason something comes into existence based on the the laws of the universe?
Humans came up with the idea of the laws of the universe. Why do you ask the same question twice? Humans created the gods to explain the unknown. Do you have proof your god created anything?
Idk wtf you talking bout I never said my god and I am not trying to prove anything, I am just presenting a concept about why something with no beginning or end would exist.
Ok, are you saying there has to be something to create this world making God an inevitable conclusion?
not at all I am saying what would be the reason something with no beginning or end to exits? my answer is nothing and I wanted to see what other people came up with.
Sounds like you are confused on what infinity is. I do not blame you, it is a difficult concept.
Given an infinite amount of time, anything can occur, no matter how unlikely.
In fact, in infinite amount of time, everything occurs.
Still do not understand? Okay:
I can guarantee you will win the next 10 powerball jackpots in a row, how? You buy every possible winning combination. 10 times in a row. Given infinite amount of money, that is easy to do.
So if you are stating that time is infinite and always existed with no beginning or end what is the the reason time exist?
Another difficult concept, but time does not "exist' it is a human thought construct to measure events that happen with regularity.
Really there is no such thing as time, it does not "exist" in the real world. Simply just events happening and we humans like order and predictability so we created a tool based on our observation of events that happen with regularity that helps us predict other events in a coordinated manner.
It is part of the reason why people struggle with the concept of infinity so much, the tool/concept of time fails in that regard.
Cool.. What causes gods to come into existence?
No....I guess I should have used another word because the word god holds no substance in my argument and for some reason you keep bringing that up.
Thanx nyarlathotep
You edjamakate me so much:)
I started to look that word up... LOL!
Lol. That's awesome. I've created my own language. I need to get it to Webster :)

Which god are you talking about? Do you have proof your god is outside of this universe? Do you have proof your god created this universe?
I never said my god but im talking about the god billions of people subscribe to past and present.
Which god are you talking about? Yahweh or Allah?
Like I said I am talking about the god billions of people believe in past and present the one that has no beginning or end and at the very least Muslims and Christians I cant say for certain that is a character trait of god for any other religion.
You don't even know your own gods name?
Zero
Are you an atheist or do you have a god you'd like to share about? I'm curious :)
I believe in something very powerful idk what that is yet and I am waiting on time to reveal more about the universe and for more information to unfold.I do think there is a answer about the origins of this universe but it is popularly unknown but I have no problem dying without that information which that information can be revealed tomorrow or 500 years from now or even at a further time but there is an absolute truth to the origins of our universe and beyond.
The universe is very powerful. :)
Exactly!
Carefully look up the definition of atheist and god.
Based on your limited description of your thoughts so far, you are an atheist.
I am a believer in science and I believe science is spiritual.
By the strict definitions of god and atheist, you can be spiritual and still be an atheist.
So you don't even know it's name? You have no proof of it's existence?
