Your arid, cold, boring hair-splitting leaves me totally indifferent.

I can only thank God I did not waste my life reading university texts.

No, I think the universities would like to thank you for not attending.

Damn-straight there, Fergie ol' buddy! Here-here! Amen, brother! I almost shudder to imagine what my life would be like today if I had been foolish enough to attend those evil universities and read their Satanic books of science and logic! ... Oh... wait....

Oh! but I am not angry at all.

Figures you'd drink that piss water instead of getting a good beer, but perhaps one can only learn about good beer in a university setting.

Hell, even if it did... WORTH IT! The Catholic Church should use it to replace the communion wine. They could increase their membership tremendously almost overnight.

Good bye.

We are on two completely different levels and you just cannot understand that a different kind of life is possible (and better)

Ferguson 1951 "Your logic blunts your mind, that's all"

Logic is a method of reasoning that adheres to strict principles of validation. So the phrase "your logic" is rather hilarious, and the efficacy of the method has been objectively established.

Your sneering arrogant contempt for anything or one that challenges your unevidenced belief in archaic superstition though, is funniest of all.

What objective evidence can you demonstrate that any deity exists?

Until you can you're peddling snake oil, while sneering at antibiotics.

From the very first your posts have suggested the Dunning Kruger effect to me.

Philippe Codognet

Is Logic Really Dead or Only Just Sleeping?
There was a time when Logic was the dominant paradigm for human reasoning. As George Boole put it around one hundred and fifty years ago,Logic was synonymous with the “Laws of Thought”. Later, for most of the latter half of the twentieth century,it was the mainstream of Artificial Intelligence. But then it all went wrong. Artificial Intelligence researchers, frustrated by the lack of progress, blamed many of their problems on the logic-based approach. They argued that humans do not reason logically, and therefore machines should not be designed to reason logically either. Other approaches began to make progress where Logic was judged to have failed - approaches that were designed to simulate directly the neurological mechanisms of animal and human intelligence. Insect-like robots began to appear, and the beginning of a new Machine Intelligence was born. Logic seemed to be dieing - and to be taking Logic Programming (LP) with it.

“The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift”. –Albert Einstein

Aaand caught in yet another lie. That is not a quote by Einstein at all. It didn't appear until 1976....oh, and in case you don't know, Einstein was well dead by then.

You , like so many theists, just enjoy making stuff up do you not? The alternatives to "lying for Jesus" are looking more and more attractive....

@Ferguson 1951...

@Ferguson 1951...

Why are you quoting a man with a PhD? I thought you didn't value the opinions of people with university educations and qualifications?

Almost as hilarious as you cherry picking quotes from Einstein, you might want to read some of his well publicised comments on the bible and christianity, and the monotheistic religions in general.

You are funny mind, though I think the humour is unintended on your part.

ferguson1951's picture
Your judgment of intention

Your judgment of intention only reveals the hatred you atheists nurture towards anything that has to do with the supernatural.

In good faith I quoted that, thinking it was the true flour from Einstein's sack (as we say here).

After all, maybe it still is. Trust an atheist!!

Several researchers have been unable to locate a statement by Einstein matching the expression above though Einstein did speak highly of intuition.

How about this one? Also untrue?

So you admit your lies? How about admitting you didn't read the Times of London in 1998? And all the other "terminological inexactitudes" you have promulgated on these forums?

As I said, if 'lying for jesus' gets you into your heaven you are a shoe in....

How about this quote from Einstein, since you seem to value his opinion.

“The word God is for me nothing more than the expression and product of human weaknesses, the Bible a collection of honourable, but still primitive, legends which are nevertheless pretty childish.”

It's always a mistake to cherry pick quotes using Google, and to use appeal to authority fallacies.

You're clueless fair play.

Although I happen to be male, I will happily take your lowbrow attempt at feminising pejoration, and render it null and void, by stating here that I would be happy to be considered as worthy of standing alongside, for example Hypatia of Alexandria, Marie Curie, Barbara McLintock, Rosalind Franklin, Katie Bouman or Emily Lakdawalla, whose toenail clippings have produced far superior output to your sad liitle rants here.

Oh, I see you've still chickened out of that challenge I issued. Quelle surprise.

Definitely, my post (#211)

Definitely, my post (#211) indicated that fergie is now in his "exit strategy mode".

His posture has become "I am living a high quality life while you sad atheists struggle under your servitude to logic". He wants to go out in a blaze of glory with the image that he is living a quality life, while the reality is he is a homeless transient who can not hold a job or maintain deep personal relationships.

LostLocke's picture
Plus, "suicide by mod" also

Plus, "suicide by mod" also allows you to run back home and say that you beat the atheists, because they were so defeated that they had to remove you.
I bet none of "those people" ever come to these forums and read what really happens in this cases.

Psalms, chapter 127

A song of ascents. Of Solomon.

Unless the LORD build the house,

they labor in vain who build.

Unless the LORD guard the city,

in vain does the guard keep watch.

It is vain for you to rise early

and put off your rest at night,

To eat bread earned by hard toil—

all this God gives to his beloved in sleep. HA,HA,HA,HA!!!!!

You go on breaking your backs under the weight of your logical, scientific lives and your university texts.
I have more important things to do (when I am not resting) hahahaha

I have a 104 m2 apartment all for myself. My pension and over $ 70,000 in the bank. All this despite the fact that I quit my conventional job 33 years ago. I have had my self-tailored job since then, working for God and neighbour. I never did one day of homeless life.

Nevertheless, very soon I will give up my apartment because I am called abroad. I don't care about material possessions. I must have lost them all at least 3 times during my life but I just cannot stop having new ones again.

You go on with your stupid lives: my life has one synonym only: ADVENTURE. I love it. Never a dull moment.

I was born in Argentina. When they were giving vaccine shots at school my father, rightly teaching us to mistrust doctors, would keep us at home. So I do not have one vaccine in my body.
I had severe flu only once 40 years ago. I spent 3 years in India and never even had the runs.

I read on the paper today that at long last the silly medical conventional establishment has reached a conclusion that I knew years ago: that too much sugar causes cancer.
In fact, I don't use sugar. I use stevia for my coffee.

If, despite that, one day I get cancer, I want to die my death undisturbed.
You will never see me like an idiot undergo chemotherapy, radiotherapy and surgical operations.
Completely useless.
People keep getting cancer and dying from it , hopefully not more owing to medical treatment than the disease itself. hahaha

You will never see me trust someone who studied medicine at the university

In the 80s I worked for a chartered architect in France. He used to build houses with mud bricks (adobe) made in a factory (bricks that cost more than fired bricks).
He asked me to go with him to India for an International Conference on mud architecture and we went.
The conference was chaired by famous anglo-indian architect Laurie Baker who had never built one single mud house.
I got interested in that. I said to myself: since I am going to come back to India by myself, maybe I can use these techniques to help the poor.

I did go back to India in 1988 but found that people hated mud bricks because they thought they did not want to identify with the poor.
And I also found out that the poor had their own techniques, much cheaper than using a press and making one brick at a time.

My fault: for once I trusted a graduate. hahaha
