Tasnim Mohammed,

Tasnim Mohammed,

"Because Qur’an say clearly in Surah Anaam, Ch. No. 6, V. No. 159 that… ‘Who ever makes sects… divisions in Religion of Islam, he has nothing to do with Allah (SWT).’ Means, making sects is prohibited in Islam."

Now you're calling Mohammed a liar. Hope you enjoy being roasted.

Based on my experience this is the best forum for discussing religion. The posters are knowledgeable and present a variety of views. This allows an in-depth look at the fairy tales that's missing on other sites. I hope we will all be able to continue our analysis well into the future.

My dear @skeptikos, that is

My dear @skeptikos, that is exactly what Islam is love, peace, and tolerance not only to fellow humans but also to animals and other creators.

ISLAM

1.
DEFINITION

A.
Meaning of Islam

(i)
Islam is derived from the word salaam meaning peace.

(ii)
Submission to the Will of Allah (swt) i.e. God Almighty.

B.
Meaning of ‘Muslim’ – One who submits his will to Allah.

C.
Islam is not a new religion found by Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).
Copied and pasted from
http://www.islam101.com/religions/christianity/similarities.htm

Allah forbids you not, with regard to those who fight you not for (your) Faith nor drive you out of your homes, from dealing kindly and justly with them: for Allah loveth those who are just. 60:108
“God does not love corruption”. (Ch 2 verse 205)

Serve Allah, and join not any partners with Him; and do good- to parents, kinsfolk, orphans, those in need, neighbours who are near, neighbours who are strangers, the companion by your side, the wayfarer (ye meet), and what your right hands possess: For Allah loveth not the arrogant, the vainglorious;- 4:36
overlook (their misdeeds): for Allah loveth those who are kind. 5:13
The recompense for an injury is an injury equal thereto (in degree): but if a person forgives and makes reconciliation, his reward is due from Allah: for (Allah) loveth not those who do wrong. 42:40

Hold to forgiveness; command what is right; But turn away from the ignorant.7:199

By an act of mercy from God, you [Prophet] were gentle in your dealings with them- had you been harsh, or hard-hearted, they would have dispersed and left you- so pardon them and ask forgiveness for them. Consult with them about matters, then, when you have decided on a course of action, put your trust in God: God loves those who put their trust in Him. 3:159

And make not Allah's (name) an excuse in your oaths against doing good, or acting rightly, or making peace between persons; for Allah is One Who heareth and knoweth all things. 2:224

So be patient, [Prophet], as befits you.70:5

But indeed if any show patience and forgive, that would truly be an exercise of courageous will and resolution in the conduct of affairs. 42:43

But, for thy Lord's (Cause), be patient and constant! 74:7

Bear, then, with patience, all that they say, and celebrate the praises of thy Lord, before the rising of the sun and before (its) setting. 50:39

There is no forcing in my religion you take if you want and leave it alone if not. It is a matters of analyzing and challenge whether it is logic is not. Read Quran and the truth about Islam and compare and contrast. Call 877-whyislam if you want to discuss in depth and bring forward ALL your questions.

https://quran.com/?local=en

There is no compulsion in religion: true guidance has become distinct from error, so whoever rejects false gods and believes in God has grasped the firmest hand-hold, one that will never break. God is all hearing and all knowing. 2:256

READ QURAN and I hope it will clarify alot for you and call the number if you have questions or need clarification.

Thank you for your time and patience.

As you've been told quoting the Koran at us, is like quoting Harry Potter and insisting it evidences wizardry.

Nyarlathotep,

Nyarlathotep,

It's so easy to refute Tasnim Mohammed I will miss her when she's banned. The fountain of paradise will cease to flow. But being a woman she will probably end up in hell instead of paradise.

Sahih Bukhari
Sahih Bukhari Volume 001, Book 006, Hadith Number 301.
Narated By Abu Said Al-Khudri : Once Allah's Apostle went out to the Musalla (to offer the prayer) o 'Id-al-Adha or Al-Fitr prayer. Then he passed by the women and said, "O women! Give alms, as I have seen that the majority of the dwellers of Hell-fire were you (women)." They asked, "Why is it so, O Allah's Apostle ?" He replied, "You curse frequently and are ungrateful to your husbands. I have not seen anyone more deficient in intelligence and religion than you. A cautious sensible man could be led astray by some of you." The women asked, "O Allah's Apostle! What is deficient in our intelligence and religion?" He said, "Is not the evidence of two women equal to the witness of one man?" They replied in the affirmative. He said, "This is the deficiency in her intelligence. Isn't it true that a woman can neither pray nor fast during her menses?" The women replied in the affirmative. He said, "This is the deficiency in her religion."

I appreciate that you brought

I appreciate that you brought an authentic Hadith. Thank you. I wish for you and other atheist to see you in the paradise that you guys turn back to your Creator because you certainly will directly or indirectly whether you like or not. Everyone of us will be there. It seems impossible for you but Remember this on that day because we will all read our books by ourselves. I hope God opens your brains and eyes to think and reflect. Let me be honest with you I am not doing for my own benefit but for you to open your eyes and THINK not only from the scripture but also from what you see around you. One of the amazing thing is that you see some Muslims graves with light and good smell and non Muslim graves bones and fossils and snakes etc. I hope you get a chance one day to see with your own eyes a Muslim grave opened after many years and the body looks fresh non of his/her clothes torn and a beautiful face. Then compare it with the rest of non Muslim graves and reflect and THINK why they're different.

My dear brother by being a woman doesn't mean that hellfire is the destination but the prophet PBUH said they are the majority and the Hadith you mentioned above states the reason "You curse frequently and are ungrateful to your husbands." If Muslim sister avoids that and be righteous then she will be rewarded.

"And their Lord hath accepted of them, and answered them: "Never will I suffer to be lost the work of any of you, be he male or female: Ye are members, one of another: Those who have left their homes, or been driven out therefrom, or suffered harm in My Cause, or fought or been slain,- verily, I will blot out from them their iniquities, and admit them into Gardens with rivers flowing beneath;- A reward from the presence of Allah, and from His presence is the best of rewards." 3:195

Tasnim Mohammed,

Tasnim Mohammed,

"I hope you get a chance one day to see with your own eyes a Muslim grave opened after many years and the body looks fresh non of his/her clothes torn and a beautiful face."

The idea of resurrection is a Pharisee (Jewish sect) idea. They say that each Jew will get 2,800 Gentile slaves in the afterlife. So if you get resurrected you may end up as a slave in someone else's paradise. Better read the fine print in the books.

Sorry guys, it's a long post!

Sorry guys, it's a long post!

Dear Tasmin Mohammed and ziani,

Didn't you say that Islam values reasoned debate? So far it's been a one-way discussion with you two! I might as well be talking to a wall; at least I might get an echo!

In this thread I have made 14 posts to you that answered your riddle-proofs or challenged some claim. Exactly one post was answered; my rebuttal was ignored. Poor "Old man shouts…" has been trying very hard to get an answer to two, simple questions, one of them being "Are you Sunni or Shiite?" You evaded the issue by saying that the Quran (and therefore Islam) doesn't distinguish. Of course not! The split occurred after Mohammad died. It's a fact of Arabic life that each sect of Islam has their own interpretation of Islam based on the same Quran. Don't you think it's time to give him an answer?

Neither have you made much of an effort, if any, to provide credible defenses for the ocean of ugly verses that forum members have found in the Quran. Can you blame us if we conclude that Islam has no defense? Of course, we don't expect you to defend every one of those verses, but you could ask each major contributor to single out 3 or 4 of them. Another one-way discussion!

Following is a list of my 14 posts in the order they physically appear on my screen.

1) 3-17 22:55 Here is my criticism of your argument about unobtainable knowledge involving a storm at sea.

2) 3-17 23:32 Islamic religion is the problem, not a few terrorists. The Quran has been elevated to the status of an idol; Mohammad has been elevated to the status of a god.

3) 3-17 23:50 Islam was spread by the sword. It was not a matter of freedom of choice. This is the one post you attempted to rebut, and you pointed out that Islamic armies have never been in many parts of the world that have adopted Islam.

4) 3-18 18:02 After Islam was established it did spread into distant areas without the aid of armies. However, much of Islam's early rise to power did employ violence. There was no such thing as freedom of choice unless it was the choice of joining up or getting the sword (or a heavy tax). Supporo brought up 47:3-4 in the Quran which certainly doesn't look like freedom of choice!

5) 3-18 00:07 Here the Quran presents the silly spectacle of Allah raising up the heavens. We see the folly of the sun "running its course." (Ch 13, v 2)

6) 3-18 00:18 Critics don't have any logical requirement to mention the good verses in the Quran. Allah can't be the author of a book that is half good and half rotten. Establishing the rotten verses is enough to rule out Allah as author.

7) 3-19 22:22 I show why the distance of the sun is no proof of God.

8) 3-18 00:24 Finding modern science in the Quran is a game of 20-20 hindsight! One can do the same thing with the aimless text created by Nostradamus.

9) 3-19 23:23 I answer your watch argument. Again, the fact that the distance to the sun is just right is no proof of God. The same argument applies to various other parameters that make our life possible.

10) 3-19 23:36 The hide-and-seek god is a silly concept. That the Quran justifies it is just another reason to pitch that book into the big can!

11) 3-18 16:27 I addressed the absurd claim that the theory of biological evolution has no academic or scientific support, that it only gained favor because it allowed one to doubt God.

12) 3-18 17:00 Atheists are not pained nor confused by doubts about their rejection of the god idea. Demanding a purpose for existence is a "proof" of God that begs the question of God's existence. There is no such purpose unless one ASSUMES a creator who had a purpose in mind.

13) 3-18 00:32 Yes, many Westerners do have a poor understanding of Islam, but some of the best criticism comes from ex-Muslims who understood Islam all too well. Some of the problems were touched on by the great Islamic scholars of the golden age of Islam!

14) 3-18 00:43 The flat-earth nature of the Quran as depicted in "the spreading out of the earth" and the silliness of "setting mountains" on that flat earth is exposed.

Should you get into the mood for a two-way discussion with me, please refer to the original posts rather than the above abbreviated descriptions.

Thank you for bringing that up because in order for us to understand what the verse means we need to get deep understanding. We go back to the scholar of the Quran interpretation like Ibn Abas , ibn Masud, Ibn Kathir etc.

"Each one runs (its course) for a term appointed" means that each of them have limit and they run until the last hour (appointment term) before the world ends.

Firstly you're simply making

Firstly you're simply making subjective claims without any attempt to demonstrate evidence that this 'means' anything, and isn't simply the incoherent ramblings of iron age Bedouins on a superstitious power trip.

Secondly it's absurdly irrational to claim that an omniscient omnipotent deity which is perfectly merciful deals in esoteric allegory, that just by coincidence reflects the culture and epoch from which the narrative is derived.

Almost as absurdly irrational as implying an omniscient deity is a monoglot whose message can only truly be understood in the original Arabic. Thus allowingcadherentsto mendaciously 'interpret' the text with the pretence of knowledge they don't possess and can't demonstrate objectively.

Everything about your religion screams (partly plagiarised) man made myth. Everything about your posts displays the unmistakable bias and intransigence of faith based religious superstition.

You've posted nothing that suggests you're prepared to make a critical reading of the text or it's claims, rather you are starting with the a priori belief that it is all true and that your deity is real, and every post is an attempt to bend the contradictions of reality to fit this belief.

I remain very unconvinced by such rhetoric, and can only infer that the absence of objective evidence predictable puts your deity and beliefs in the same category as all the other man made superstitions.
