Hey that is great god has been so faithful to you. I personally have not noticed god being faithful to anyone, (not even really sure what that means, but I am assuming something positive.)
Totally understand the want to live forever, we all fear death. If it works for you great.
Thanks for the "kind" words on thinking I will be saved. I am not going to begrudge someone wanting the best for me. Sounds to me like you are a nice guy, trying to help "save" people where you can.
But I do have a problem with your religion, and its concept of god. Don't feel like I am only against your particular religion though, I feel this for every major religion I ever heard of, with some being far worse than others.
I think religions are overall a net negative, even if it does help people feel better sometimes. I feel the system nearly all religions employ to bolster their ranks and to perpetuate their religion is terrible, especially the part where they brainwash children while they are young and impressionable is particularly heinous. (Not to mention the history of war and bloodshed nearly all the major religions have taken a central role in.)
I would be fine with people coming to atheist debate boards to discuss their god, if I did not know underneath, they are also pushing their beliefs on kids not old enough to defend themselves with tools such as critical thinking, and then set people up for a lifetime of confusion and perhaps worse.

Game of Thrones is way way better. In fact I find the unevidenced superstitious guff in the gospels, coming as it does decades after the fact from unknown authors, and making risible claims that outrage reason and defy known physiological facts to be beyond tedious. You have to literally have blind faith to view that nonsense as anything but risible superstitious hokum, from a time where ignorance and superstition were ubiquitous.

A being that engages in eternal torture is the very opposite of "love".
If Jesus died for our sins and the salvation is complete, then no action is required on our behalf in order to be "saved". The truth is, your dogma says that people will be tortured for refusing to worship a being that engaged in torture. In no sense then is this salvation nonsense complete and finished. In no sense is Jesus not forsaking people by putting them through misery and ultimately torturing them for eternity.
I believed that Jesus was the Christ, died for our sins, etc. I'm assuming my beliefs were very similar to yours. I loved God more than anything. My whole heart desired just to serve him with all that I had. I was not afraid of God. The deep fear that I had was when I began to doubt that He existed. That terrified me because I had been taught that my life would be worthless without God (luckily, that's not true). I'd loved God more that anything, and it broke my heart to think that he might not be real. That's when I begged for him to help me keep hold of my faith. I prayed for this for 3 years while also talking to Christian mentors and attending a Christian university. But in the end, I came to see that God did not exist. It wasn't that he'd turned his back on me, he simply wasn't there.
I guess I'm sharing this with you because I see many Christians (including me, back in the day) who believe that all ex-Christians either didn't really love/believe in Jesus/God to begin with, or that they decided they wanted to disobey God and live their own sinful lives without being accountable. That was not the case for me at all. I was devastated and it took me many further years to heal, once I saw how damaging that indoctrination had been.
Bullshit "God is AWESOME". Stone Jade gave us a very real story, one many of us atheists also performed. We sought out something divine, we got on our hands and knees many times, and sincerely prayed and hoped. So the absolute crap about why god did not reveal itself leads to only one conclusion. Thousand have tried this method, and it has failed.

I actually kind of like "God is Awesome".
He/she/zhe provides a departure from most of the other theists we usually hear from. HSZ provides pure preaching and no pretense at all about rational discourse. It's really rather refreshing. This is really the niche for religious zealotry and I for one can only applaud.

It really is quite refreshing to see a genuine christian who has, as is necessary, cast logic, reason and reality to the four winds and based their entire rigid life on a delusion.

If there was some sort of greater being that created well everything, you would think calling it she would be more appropriate then he. After all, women have created all of us. Every single last one of us that has ever lived has been created by women (with a little dna help from men.)
Of course the whole anthropomorphizing of some greater entity that created all this (if one actually did exist) is also just another example of (obvious to me anyways) giant clue that humans created the god idea. And more specifically, that men did.

I hate to break it to you GiA but your entire faith is a lie, an untruth based on a political necessity of the 3rd century CE. Like most christians (especially the preachy kind) you have zero understanding of the history of your religion.
This makes your entire message rather sad. You seem to have a potential to do so much in the world but you are shackled to the lies of medieval priests and kings intent on retaining the power they had and have over the populace. In fact you actively participate in the lies which makes you a bit of a criminal, aiding and abetting a fraudulent act, participating in a violent act upon a third person, and inappropriate touching.
